We have been on a little farming hiatus for a while now,but never fear, we are gearing up to get our club meeting again.

We will soon be accepting members for our spring 2012 club!
We will be meeting early in March to warm up with some tasty cocktails and treats. We have some delicious deep and rich bitters, voluptuous liliqueurs and unique infusions.

We are very excited to announce we are now accepting new members! Memberships are available for 3 or 6 month terms, starting in August. Each member receives an invitation for themselves and a friend to our monthly meeting, and a bottle of our liqueur of the month.

3 ounces Cucumber Basil Liqueur
3 ounces tonic water
2 slices lime (squeezed)
1/4 cup frozen cucumber cubes
sprig of basil

suggestions: drink with fabulous friend during a sunset while eating tacos.

Homestead is proud to present its fourth exhibition, Three Rooms. The show will highlight the work of six artists living and working in the boroughs of New York City. For this Homestead event we have invaded three apartments at 1399 Pacific. Each level of the building will be a different show and attendees are free to travel amongst the three spaces, exploring the work at their leisure. Throughout each "gallery" the work bounces between hyper-realistic painting, sculptures amassed with energy, and collages meticulously arranged. What was once solely an apartment building will now be transformed into a multi-level exhibition featuring the work of Rita MacDonald, Jillian Johnson, Rachel Mueler, Emily Noelle Lambert, Martha Clippinger, and Craig Kane. We also have the privilege of working with Sister Liqueurs, which will be providing custom-made martinis for purchase throughout the evening. When the show concludes at 10pm we will head to Starlite Lounge at 1084 Bergen Street.

Please join us in Crown Heights, Brooklyn on April 10, 2010 from 7-10PM to celebrate the artists' work as well as Homestead's fourth opening. You can reach 1399 Pacific by taking the A train to Nostrand Avenue. Walk south on Nostrand Avenue four blocks to Pacific and make a left, proceed two more blocks until you reach us! Sister Liqueurs at Green Edge Fundraiser for Farm at HSPS

Come and enjoy a delicious meal, topped off with cocktails from Sister Liqueurs, and an auction of goodie baskets filled with gift certificates to local restaurants and shops, artisan liqueurs, homebrews and more! There will be a short presentation on the new Farm at the high school followed by discussion on the future of urban agriculture and school farms.

Fundraiser a HUGE Sucess

Thanks to everyone who came out Saturday night to the Queer Farmer Film Project Fundraiser @ the Cozy Shack in BK. The fundraiser was a huge success, raising over $2,00 to support the Queer Farmer Film Project, and their effort to document and connect queer farmers across the US.

Sister Liqueurs provided a cash bar for the evening, serving up delicious cocktails made with our hand made liqueur. All the proceeds from drinks will be donated to BK Farmyards, for planning the new farm at the High School for Public Service in Crown Heights. Thanks to everyone who purchased drinks!
